What the Hell Is Happening With Crypto? Part 3
The death of 4 crypto CEOs paint a panorama of the insane Crypto Market
This is the 3rd and final part of this article. Click here to read part 1 or part 2.
And so it happened that Sam Bankman-Fried traded his leg shackles for an ankle monitor, and off he went in a first class flight to LA, to stay with his parents.
His next day in court will be January 3rd, when he will have to make his plea to the Judge. He is widely expected to plead guilty - not that logic has been playing much of a role in his life.
Meanwhile, Alameda's Caroline Ellison admitted, in court, to have conspired with SBF to mislead FTX's investors and costumers:
'From 2019 through 2022, I was aware that Alameda was provided access to a borrowing facility on FTX.com, the cryptocurrency exchange run by Mr. Bankman-Fried” […] this arrangement permitted Alameda access to an unlimited line of credit without being required to post collateral, without having negative balances and without being subject to margin calls on FTX.com’s liquidation protocols.'
'I am truly sorry for what I did. I knew that it was wrong'.
Before I could cap this part3, another development: Obama Judge Ronnie Abrams Recuses Herself from FTX Case Due to Husband’s Conflicts After Setting Low Bail for SBF, Ellison and Wang and Setting Them Free.
'Yesterday, after setting bail for SBF and two of his accomplices, the judge in the case [Ronnie Abrams] recused herself.'
We can speculate if it was proper for her to set the bail conditions to begin with.
We could not end this story without talking a bit about the recent deaths of Crypto CEOs. Let's start with: 29-Year-Old Crypto Pioneer Found Dead After Warning Days Earlier that Pedo Elite Would Kill Him
Yes, you read it right. 'Crypto pioneer Nicolai Mushegian was found dead […] just days after warning that the 'CIA and Mossad pedo elite' were going to kill him'
Mushegian twitted this distressing content on October 28th: 'CIA and Mossad and pedo elite are running some kind of sex trafficking entrapment blackmail ring out of Puerto Rico and caribbean islands. They are going to frame me with a laptop planted by my ex gf who was a spy. They will torture me to death.'
This kind of post would earn the person a place in the tinfoil hat brigade but not my attention, were it not for the fact that a couple of days later Puerto Rican authorities found Mushegian’s body afloat after it was dragged by water currents close to Condado Beach - an area that is known for its dangerously strong ocean currents that have caused several fatalities.
Before his mortal prophecy, back in August, he took to Twitter after an alleged attempt to disable his electric locks:
'This triggered them so overnight they sent someone to disable electric locks. First they try to be subtle and drill a little hole, then when that didnt work, they just ripped out the whole conduit. Not CIA, just the cheapest goons money can buy. Show some respect please, come on.'
Another post on the same incident: 'Before I thought it was illuminati CIA people doing sophisticated moves to set me up somehow because I was a threat to central banking cartel, now I realize these are probably the cheapest PIs money can buy sent by local banking duopoly.'
While the FTX bros were running their speed-fueled polycule fraud in the Bahamas, here we have another American young crypto developer talking about how the 'CIA and Mossad and pedo elite are running some kind of sex trafficking entrapment blackmail ring out of Puerto Rico and Caribbean islands.'
And he ended up dead shortly after that.
Next we have Tiantian Kullander, 30, who was 'the co-founder of Amber Group, a cryptocurrency trading platform which was recently valued at $3billion.'
'The company, which is based in Singapore, didn't say where Kullander passed away. A cause of death had also not been revealed on Monday.'
In itself, Kullander's case may not be all that strange - but it was not to be the last.

Russian entrepreneur Vyacheslav Taran, 53, died after the helicopter he flew in crashed near the French resort town of Villefranche-sur-Mer, after taking off from Lausanne in Switzerland.
Taran was a highly successful offshore specialist, the co-founder of trading and investment platform Libertex and Forex Club. He had lived in Monaco for the past ten years, and was flying with an experienced pilot.
Taran's death also marked the third cryptocurrency entrepreneur to die unexpectedly in a few weeks.
Here's the kicker: 'Ukrainian news agency UNIAN claimed […] that Taran was a billionaire crypto businessman with likely ties to the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service.'
The Ukrainian sources add that Taran was 'linked to the SVR foreign espionage agency and was responsible for laundering Russian funds through a system of cryptocurrency operations.
This could be the flip side to the FTX fraud with Ukrainian/American funds.
'The deputy public prosecutor of Nice, who visited the scene [of the helicopter crash], said the fault of a third party could not be ruled out.'
To top it off these crazy tales included in these 3 parts, we have the tale of a crypto CEO who 'died' in 2018 but is still moving his coins around. Too much? No, really.
QuadrigaCX's founder Gerald Cotten is said to have died 'without sharing the keys to crypto wallets worth hundreds of millions of dollars, leaving the funds inaccessible. His demise was so mysterious and controversial that it prompted a Netflix documentary into whether the whole thing was faked.'
Mid-December, 2022: Trustee investigating 'unauthorized' transfer of bitcoin from previously inaccessible QuadrigaCX wallets
'The trustee in bankruptcy for defunct cryptocurrency platform QuadrigaCX says it is investigating the 'unauthorized transfers' of approximately 100 bitcoins currently worth more than $2 million from a number of so-called 'cold wallets' it had been unable to access for three years.'
'Theories swirled around the reasons for Quadriga’s collapse after founder Gerald Cotten — the only one with access to the keys, or passwords, to digital wallets of more than 100,000 investors — was reported to have died during a trip to India in late 2018.'
So, that was our tale of insanity. What the hell is happening with crypto? All these stories are unfolding. Stay tuned.
