I agree with you that the end has not yet been written, nor the timing. Not even the angels in Heaven know when our Savior will return.
I believe Jesus Christ will show up when there is a group of Saints worthy of him.
And that this war between Gog and Magog will play out for the next thousand years until the final battle.
Until then we just live out our days dealing with the scorn of those who love Babylon more than Zion. At the crossroads, I know who I worship and whose mighty power I respect.
