Sabotage!
are we experiencing the start of the WW3 with a series of sabotage actions between US and Russia?
It's very rare that I self-censor a story. I can only recall a couple of instances, since I started writing for an international audience, in 2017.
When I did refrain from writing something, it was always out of concern that it would not be safe for me to do so. This is the very first time in which my reluctance came from the fact that I found the story a bit too scary to be addressing it.
So, if I have manned-up, now, and wrote this, is just because there's just one thing that frightens me more than nuclear apocalypse: not to have a compelling story to tell.
February 7th, 2022: Joe Biden, in his inimitable mumbling style, and squinting like mad, uttered these words: "If Russia invades... again, then there will be longer Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it."
When asked exactly how he would do that, he responded, "I promise you we will be able to do it."
In fact, those paying close attention would have noticed that 11 days earlier, on January 27th, that Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs of State Victoria Nuland gave away the game plan, in an official State Department tweet, no less: “If Russia invades Ukraine, one way or another, Nord Stream 2 will not move forward.”

26 September 2022: An explosion in the Baltic Sea, and over 165ft of three strings of the offshore gas pipelines was destroyed or buried under the seabed, in an unprecedented attack.
The attack sent geopolitical seismic waves all over the planet. Russian officials like Peskov said that, after the possible sabotage, 'no option can be ruled out, now'.
['No option can be ruled out' is clearly a subliminal threat of nuclear retaliation - and it certainly holds within its scope the possibility of a widespread sabotage op.]
A few days later, Putin had no doubts about the culprits: Russia has previously said the United States would profit from attacks on Europe's energy infrastructure.
'The sanctions were not enough for the Anglo-Saxons: they moved onto sabotage. It is hard to believe but it is a fact that they organized the blasts on the Nord Stream international gas pipelines. They began to destroy the pan-European energy infrastructure. It is clear to everyone who benefits from this. Of course, he who benefits did it.'
Also, Russian intel chief points to CIA’s history of sabotage acts against sovereign states
Sergey Naryshkin: 'The US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) engages not only in surveillance, but also carries out sabotage operations against sovereign states'.
In fact, one needed not make recourse to Occam's razor, or invoke 'cui bono' (who benefits?) or 'cherchez la femme' or any other investigative maxim. After all, Biden and Nuland told us very clearly that they would do it.
As a matter of hurting Russia, the fact is that it doesn't matter if Nord Stream works, Germany is - by contract - obliged to pay for the gas it didn't take.
February 8th, 2023:
One year (almost to the day) after the 'promise' Biden made to end NS2, American journalist Seymour Hersh (who won the 1970 Pulitzer Prize) published an article stating that the explosives under the pipeline were laid by US divers in June 2022, in an operation ordered by the president.
'Last summer, Navy divers, acting under the cover of NATO exercises known as Baltops 22, laid remotely activated explosive devices, which three months later destroyed three of the four Nord Stream pipelines.'
According to his report, Biden discussed the sabotage with his team for more than 9 months, and the main question was how not to leave evidence.
Of course, the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, and the Vinyl Chloride chemical spill has caused an environmental disaster with monstrous proportions still to be determined. That in itself would be suspicious enough, but in a few days the amount of similar cases can only be described as unbelievable.
· Investigation underway after train derailment in Enoree (South Carolina)
· Hazmat warning issued after Tucson freeway crash (Nitric Acid)
· Train derails at GP mill in Toledo - An estimated 2,000 gallons of diesel fuel spilled
· Nebraska coal train derailment sparks emergency operation
· Train carrying propane derails in Manatee County, but no leaks detected: officials
Mind you, this is just a cursory look, centered in 'train derailments'. If we moved to industrial 'accidents', the list would be many times longer. Let me just add this one:
· Three Fires At Pemex Facilities In One Day (Oil facilities in Mexico and US)
Something is happening. All this is, of course, no coincidence. It speaks volumes that most people in the conservative movement are ready to place the blame in the US government, and other deepstate players. But that is not the only explanation. There is another, plausible one.
Sabotage. Russian sabotage.
Don't get me wrong. I do not want to be right, here. I didn't even want to write this - not that my article will have any implications, but just to put this out into the universe feels creepy.
However, we may be living the early days of World War III, with a flurry of sabotage as the first salvos of the conflict between Russia and NATO.
There, I've said it.
Of course, I am hardly the first to suggest that. Look at Donald Trump Jr., on February 18th:
'Are we under attack? Does anyone believe you can have all of these major train derailments, all with severe environmental consequences, and it’s just total coincidence? Why have we not seen anyone even asking if this is perhaps retribution for our supposed attack on Nordstream 2?'
Also, other NATO countries are taking their own precautions. Netherlands warns of Russian attempts to sabotage its energy infrastructure
'Dutch military intelligence reports on activities indicating espionage and other potential disturbance
Russia had instigated “activities that indicate espionage as well as preparing operations for disturbance and sabotage” of underwater cables, wind farms and gas pipelines in the North Sea, said a report published by the Dutch military intelligence unit MIVD on Monday. (…) The report warned operators of maritime infrastructure that they should increase security measures in light of the recent events.'
In this year of War in Ukraine, I made a point of getting the best intel available, so I ended up following Russian channels in Telegram. Now, as I see them following the news of the constant 'accidents' in the US with unmistakable schadenfreude, it's very disturbing to me to see two Christian nations on the path of collision. God forbid this turn out to be the case.
Let's finish it off with a song:
I closed comments earlier, since I saw a concerted movement to come trash my work, but I'm opening them again.
You are saying, the quiet part is out loud Paul!!!
