A New War in the Falklands?

Argentinian claim is voided by the Falkland population's expressed will

There you have it. We always knew that the ever-growing Chinese influence in the South American subcontinent was not going to come free. Since Argentina decided to become a full-fledged satellite to China, it was just a matter of time before the superpower decided to support the by-now ridiculous claim from Argentina over the Falkland Islands.

In 1982, the Falkland War came about as the 'Military Junta' dictators wanted to distract people from their crumbling regime's failures. Now, this new adventure is under the banner of Chinese expansion In the subcontinent.

It took the British only 74 days to win the Falkland war. But they made sure to send in the Nepalese special forces to slaughter the much inferior Argentinean forces. This were not liberators, they were cold-blooded killers. They didn't win hearts and minds down here, but rather they helped shed light in the real dark nature of the 'United Kingdom'. People from Northern Europe, fighting for territory in the Southern Atlantic, using Asian cut-throat special forces. That's what we call Imperialism.

So, in a sense, it's detestable to have in this day and age the idea of a British Empire in the Southern Atlantic (the euphemism Britain used now was British 'Family').

But it's not about that. Usually, the superpowers completely forget to ask what the actual people involved want. But that is not the case, here. In 2013, there was a referendum in the Falklands, and the population voted overwhelmingly to remain British. They are people of mostly British origin, with British values and culture.

So, whatever the arcane claims the Argentinean clowns and their new masters have woven, there is a more direct and fundamental claim involved in the expressed will of the vast majority of the population of the Falklands. Everything else is secondary to that.

But the war drums are sounding, and we can add one more conflict to the geopolitical landscape of the immediate future.
